Remington .223 700 Tactical

A good solid Varmint rifle in a synthetic stock, would be great for foxing.
Shallow pitting can be seen at various points along the bore but especially the very tip of the muzzle as pictured.
As you can see, with cheap factory ammunition (Hornady Frontier 68gr) this rifle groups well enough for a working rifle at 100 yards. With nicer ammo or accurate reloads this group would shrink down nicely.
For those after more detail, target was shot on a windy day on a bipod without rear rest of any kind and without the moderator fitted. Scope was a 3-9×50 Burris Droptine.
You probably wont win any precision competitions with this but you will absolutely get the job done on the farm. Being a Remy 700, these are bomb proof, externally this rifle is in nice used condition. No gouges or deep scratches can be seen. Action has a nice tight lockup with a lovely single stage trigger.
Comes with 5 round magazine and original thread protector.
