Eddystone P14 sporterised with a threaded barrel (M14x1) original sights removed and scope mounts added and fitted to a camo textured stock.
Marked ERA under the front scope mount this rifle was originally manufactured be Eddystone.
Overall in good condition for its age, serial number lookup places the manufacture to March 1918.
Bore looks very prominent so there’ll be plenty of life left in this yet. The action has been refinished in a dark grey enamel that has been on it for a long time which may have been applied when these guns went through a refurb after the wars.
Comes with an early Leapers 2.5-10×56 scope fitted by way of Leupold mounts.
Whilst not very modern this will make a very nice hunting rifle for deer.
